How do i uninstall a program not listed in the list of installed programs. The program I am trying to uninstall is Antivirus 2008. I understand that this is a horrible piece of software and very difficult to get rid of. Your software was mentioned as a possible remedy. Why it did not show on the installed list, I do not know. I do know that it has already messed up the abilities I had prior to loading it. I did use the temp. version, but it will not let me get rid of it unless I purchase the product. I am disabled and can not work, so have no funds to do this. Please let me know how I may use your product to get rid of that piece of crap.

Since you are on a budget, I would try using one of the free anti-spyware/anti-virus solutions such as:
Windows Defender (basic spyware tool that you can download from Microsoft)
Trend Micro House Call (free online virus scan and removal)http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
AVG Antivirus Free Edition (basic anti-virus and anti-spyware) http://free.grisoft.com/ww.download-avg-anti-virus-free-edition
These are fine for the short term and may detect and remove your particular problem. However, I highly recommend that when your budget allows, you implement a stronger security solution such as a regularly-updated security suite with real time detection.
