   Previously install windows XP sp2 with internal modem 56K for dial-up internet connection is OK, and than removed with W. Vista Ultimate but internet connection is fail, any note “error 692″( no response from modem driver), how solution about that ?

   Since purchasing a computer with Vista installed I have not been able to open Word attachments in emails and when i saved my tax application to complete the next day I was unable to open it either to continue! Not happy Jan!!!!

    Jennifer, it’s possible the file association for Word needs to be set. Try saving the attachment to your hard drive, right-clicking it, and choosing Open With. Pick MS Word from the list and click the checkbox that says, “always use this program for this type of file.”

    Josee, it’s not uncommon for computer’s to have hundreds of errors. Some are relatively minor such as drivers that load for hardware no longer on the computer. However, each process that the OS goes through causes performace to drag.

    My facebook and myspace are all messed up. Ive reformatted my computer and it hasnt helped. Both sites randomly delete info, and delete friends. Neither site even allows me to add any friends. Ive changed passwords, and ran virus scans. Nothing as worked. They both worked fine for the first few months I had my computer. Ive heard that active X control errors might have something to do with it. can anyone help me?
