Description:

The fvlaunch.exe process or "Find Virus Launch Program" is part of the Antivirus software Dr. Solomon. Dr. Solomon"s Antivirus Software is a comprehensive virus-scanning program that serves as an efficient addition to the user"s existing antivirus software. It is specialized in identifying as well as removing Trojans, Dialers, Worms and other Spywares.

As soon as installed, the process fvlaunch.exe may automatically start protecting the user"s PC. However, the user may opt to customize the program to suit his preferences and working habits. The process fvlaunch.exe is configurable in two places: the pull-down menu found on the opening screen, which launches the main program, and the Control Panel, which features right-click scans.

The fvlaunch.exe process can scan a very long list of known viruses as well as monitor the user"s computer system for unknown ones. Currently, the fvlaunch.exe process has the capacity to recursively scan inside ZIP, DIET, ARJ, LZH, ARC, ICE, PKLite, CryptCom, LZEXE, and MS Expand file formats without having to write on disk.
The fvlaunch.exe process may work with two other fronts featured by Dr. Solomon"s Antivrus program, which are "Winguard" and Virusguard". It is advisable for the user to also avail these two and run them in concert with FindVirus to ensure a higher level of protection. Nevertheless, if the user has no network or Internet connection, the user may use just utilize the fvlaunch.exe process.

The FindVirus program monitors the system unobtrusively, with little effect on its performance. The process fvlaunch.exe may be required to run on Windows startup in order that certain programs run properly. It is highly recommended that this program be left alone as its termination may break the functionality of the program housing it or even other programs. The process fvlaunch.exe is designed to work on Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows XP, Windows 2003, and Windows Vista.
