WCD File Extension Description

The WCD file extension is used for saving information in projects created in the CD Menu Builder Software by Wisco Computing. Files in the .wcd file extension contain information for creating autoplay and autorun CD Menu projects. The WISCO CD Menu Builder is able to make a standard look for company CDs with its simple interface.

Specifically, files in the .wcd file extension are used to be able to create royalty-free, professional autoplay, or autorun CD-ROM Menu files. These projects are used to open other programs, presentations, training tutorials, training applications that are PC based, brochures, slideshows, e-books, and business cards in CDs.

Data files in the .wcd file extension can be used in the creation of settings that are needed to produce a project. It allows you to have full control of the project, as well as its layout, colors, opening sounds, text, functionality, and graphics. Files in the .wcd file extension can be used to create menu selections and HTML links that can launch other programs. These can also be made to run several internal commands that can change and verify Windows settings.

Information that are saved in the .wcd file extension can be used in creating projects in an HTML interface that gives you full customization of the output interface with clickable graphics, links and other menu options. The interface for the end-user does not need a web browser to run.

The CD Menu Builder program has three interfaces that can be used when creating projects that will be saved in the WCD file extension:

HTML interface - shows a free-from display where its lets you make HTML pages in any way that you want

Slideshow Interface ? used in displaying graphic files in JPEG and BMP in

an HTML page. Text and sound files can be displayed with every graphic.
