The TGA file extension is used for TGA file formats, and is also known as the file format for TARGA. Truevision used this native format for the boards Vista and TARGA. TARGA and Vista boards are graphics cards initially used with PC?s compatible with IBM, to be able to support displays in High color and True color. This graphic card selection was designed for use in video editing and professional synthesis of computer images.
