TDR File Extension Description

The file extension .tdr is used to store data in VHS tapes. This early form of information back-up was prevalent in Russia and USSR in the 1990?s. This type of memory back-up is called ArVid, which stands for Archiver on Video.

Connecting a VHS recorder to an ArVid device by a composite video cable creates files with the .tdr file extension. The ArVid device then copies files to the VHS tape. The data copied to the VHS tape have the file extension .tdr.

Another program that uses the TDR file extension is the Medlin Payroll Software. Companies, human resources departments and payroll services to manage salaries and taxes provided to employees use the program. Files of tax deposit records are saved with the .tdr file extension.

Medlin files with the TDR file extension contain the tax information of the employees listed in the program. The data included in the tax deposit records are automatically generated using the program. These records may be printed out or manually edited. They contain the tax contributions of the employees as well as the contributions of the company. The Medlin Payroll Software automatically generates the files.

The software Tina Pro for Windows V6.0 also uses the TDR file extension. Graphs and Results created by the Tina Pro application are saved with the file extension .tdr.

The Tina Pro program is an electronic circuit simulator. It helps check the processes and design of an electronic circuit. There are several tests available for the virtual electronic circuit. Results of these tests are saved as files with the TDR file extension. Files with the .tdr file extension can also contain graphs to show the performance of the electronic circuit during the tests.

The Tina Pro software also has the ability to create presentations that will show the performance of the electronic circuit. Files, which contain the graphs and results, can be added to these presentations to give a visual presentation of the results of tests.
