NLX File Extension Description

The .nlx file extension, is exclusively applied as the format associated with the forms generated by the application FormWorx, which is described as a form management program, designed as character based. The file extension .nlx supports the two modules of FormWorx, which consists of the Fill and File, and the Draw and Edit, that both utilize the various tools built into the software application.

The program invokes its pull down menus by using the slash symbol key or the Escape key of the keyboard, which represents the program?s hot keys. The common command sets of the program can be invoked in two ways: via the user menus, or utilizing keyboard shortcuts that are the equivalent of the menu commands. The file extension .nlx does not have a built-in support for the mouse pointing device, making it irrelevant in the program?s functionality.

To incorporate boxes and lines into the file extensions .nlx, the user can invoke the draw command that has the fill option for character shading, and the join commands which are implemented for addressing broken lines. The fields associated with the file extension .nlx are defined under three categories: the number, the character and the date.

The .nlx file extension?s date category presents no viable option, and should always be presented in the format MM/ DD/ YY. There are two valid definitions for fields used in relation to the file extension .nlx: by invoking the Range Name New command option, or by referencing a name list from an external file.
