MA3 File Extension Description

The file extension MA3 is used by two applications for the files it generates. The first application that uses the MA3 file extension is Diablo II form Blizzard Entertainment. The second installment in the Diablo series is a role playing online computer game with a with a dark fantasy theme, compatible for Windows operating systems and Macintosh operating systems.

In this game, the player has the role of the hero that combats the monsters over different terrains and locations. Diablo II is divided into four parts and in each of these parts, the hero must fight and defeat the monsters to increase the level of their characters, and add better items for use. Players are able to choose between four different characters for its heroes. These are Necromancer, Paladin, Amazon, Sorceress, and Barbarian, where each of them has its own characteristics, strengths and weaknesses, and different skills to choose from.

The Diablo II game, which uses the MA3 file extension, has three difficulty levels namely; normal, nightmare and hell, normal being the easiest, and hell the hardest. The heroes must complete each level in the order presented. This online game has different features to enhance the gaming experience, including the option for players to hire mercenaries that are controlled by the computer, to help the player in attacking enemies. Items collected by the players can be customized by using the gems and sockets, or transform it by using a Horadric cube.

Another application that uses the MA3 file extension as a macro file is the Harvard Graphics. Macros, such as those saved in the MA3 file extension, is used for automating a task in the Harvard Graphics application, which users carry out regularly. The MA3 file extension contains a series of actions and commands, which the users can execute, in the event that they need to perform a specific task stored in the macro.

The Harvard graphics is an application that helps users create presentations complete with texts, images, tables, graphs, audio, and other multimedia files. This application uses the OLE technology or Object Linking and Embedding technology; this allows users to drag and drop images, charts, graphs, and other files between the different programs that are included in its suite.
