The .bc! file extension is used by incomplete torrent downloads.

The file begins with zero data, occupying no space on the memory. As the program continues to download the file, the file with the BC! file extension increases in size.

BitComet is a free downloading p2p sharing program. Unlike other torrent download clients, the BitComet application can preview files with the BC! file extension. The program can access the downloaded information stored with the file extension .bc!. The program then translates the partially downloaded file and recognizes their format. Downloaded information that came from files that were originally stored with the file extensions .rmvb, .vmv, .qt and .mp3 can be previewed by using the BitComet program. Once the file is completely downloaded, it will revert back to its original format and file extension and the file with the BC! file extension will be deleted automatically.

The BC! The program BitLord also uses file extension. BitLord is another p2p sharing application. It also uses torrents to download files. It also stores partially downloaded torrents with the BC! file extension.
