Description:

The WinPortrait software allows you to instantly change your display from typical landscape to the portrait setting by rotating the display image to 90 or 270. It is ideal for spreadsheet and computer games.

The EXE wpctrlnt.exe is a WinPortrait plug-in for Windows NT, which works directly on youre the driver of your native graphics so as to greatly enhance the compatibility and speed of the WinPortrait. It does not replace your graphics display driver, rather the wpctrlnt.exe process steps out of the way to allow your native graphics driver to function normally in landscape mode. When Rotate Mode is selected, the wpctrlnt.exe process is activated to allow portrait viewing.

The native landscape driver must be loaded first prior to the installation of the WinPortrait software. You must also have the Microsoft Service Pack 4 or greater installed on Windows NT to obtain the AGP compatibility.

The wpctrlnt.exe EXE serves as your WinPortrait taskbar application. It installs a blue monitor icon in the system tray, which, with a single click, allows you to rotate the screen image. Another way of rotating the screen image is through the Settings> Display Properties of the Control Panel.

The wpctrlnt.exe process does setting the Refresh Rates by right clicking your mouse on an empty area of the Windows desktop. Select the Settings tab of the Properties sheet and choose the precise Refresh Frequency on your graphics display. After pressing the Test button and the test mode display correctly, clicking on the Apply button activates the changes.
