The winsos.exe process activates the WinSos software immediately deleting the installation of spyware and adware long before it damages your system. It also prevents dialers, browser hijackers, and other software that may potentially harm your computer.

After the installation of WinSos, the process winsos.exe puts an icon in the system tray that opens the main menu with a single click allowing you to choose from the following services: Spyware, Backup, Troubleshooting, and Diagnosis.

The Troubleshooting feature solves your computer problems by requesting the assistance of a technician who has the ability to troubleshoot your computer by remote means. The Diagnosis feature can diagnose your computer for Integer Calculation, Floating Calculation, Display Text, and Graphics Display. The winsos.exe process can test your memory, your Microsoft Navigator, hard drive speed, and 3D/DirectX. This feature also provides you your System Information, Processor Information, and Windows/Network Information.
