Description:

The weather.exe file is the Weatherbug system tray icon. The process weather.exe is installed with the Weatherbug software by AWS Convergence Technologies. The weather.exe file represents the Weather report for the day and is placed as a small pictogram representing the application in the system tray usually beside the clock.

The system tray is in the task bar usually on the bottom of the screen and contains notifications, indicators or alerts. It may also contain minimized applications. The weather.exe file enables users to easily access Weatherbug, so that they can check current weather conditions right away. Weatherbug provides information services on the weather and operates and manages a network of Weatherbug Tracking Stations and cameras, which are strategically placed throughout the United States. The weather station produces live reports every second on the weather. Consumers, the government, schools and broadcasters utilize the application to get current neighborhood level weather conditions.

The weather.exe process assists users to be able to access delivery of live local weather conditions and forecasts, and life saving alerts of the weather as well. Weatherbug started as a program installed in schools for professional grade weather stations to assist teachers in the application of real world technology for science, math and geography. The desktop application was launched for businesses and consumers with the main purpose to deliver live local weather forecasts, conditions and severe weather alerts that save lives.

The government to be able to help in emergencies by precisely analyzing the impact or the current weather conditions in natural disasters and hazardous situations uses Weatherbug. This helps the government in determining which municipalities need to be evacuated, select an appropriate route, and dispatch equipment to the site.
