Description:

The file waol.exe is related to the popular America Online (AOL) service, which provides subscribers with a user interface that will allow them to access the Internet through AOLs network. As the main executable file of the AOL software, the waol.exe file creates a link between the web browser interface of AOL and its network to allow various user online activities like shopping, email, bills payment and others. During execution, the process waol.exe will install a small icon in the system tray, which will inform the user that the application is still active, and may be minimized and running in the background.

The installation package for the file waol.exe can be downloaded from AOLs web site or can come as a pre-installed packaged with a brand new computer system (at times with a free limited subscription to AOL services). This feature packed application literally places the Internet at the users fingertips, with the ability to immediately access services by launching the application from the desktop.
