For the users to set these security levels they need to use the umsd.exe program.

Since the umsd.exe file is a program, its icon appears in the system tray upon installing the software for the Disk Go! Flash drive. Performing a right-click on the umsd.exe program icon will display a menu where in the user can choose options from the menu to configure the security settings of the Disk Go! Flash disk.

With the umsd.exe program the user is not only allowed to change security settings on the Disk Go! Flash disk but also to partition it. Partition means assigning a size to a specific drive. In the case of the Disk Go! Flash disk, it has two partitions, which are the Public Area only, and the Security Area only partitions.
