Description:

The uiwatcher.exe process launches the uninstaller suite for Ashampoo software products. The uiwatcher.exe file watches over operations in the system and monitors for any uninstallation procedure in Ashampoo applications. The file opens a computer program designed to handle the removal of Ashampoo software.

The uiwatcher.exe process works with a logger that logs installations in which files were changed or added and where entries in the registry where changed or added as well. The uiwatcher.exe file watches the programs that are running, for the installation programs and initiates the logger when an uninstall procedure is initialized. The Uninstaller reverses the changes made to files contained in the log so that the Ashampoo application can be uninstalled. An operation for moving and transporting creates a back up of the program and packs all necessary files and entries in the registry into a transport package. An Archive also makes a back up for the program to be able to save up disk space during uninstallation. The uiwatcher.exe process also works with other tools like a junk file cleaner, cache cleaner and a cleaner for browser history.
