Description:

The turbotop.exe process is known as the TurboTop software. Some programs have the Always on Top feature. This means that you can configure an application window to remain above other windows even in cases where it is not in focus. The always on top feature of the turbotop.exe process can be considered to be particularly useful since some users prefer to interact with a program window at a time when some other applications need to be running. However, only a few programs implement this kind of feature. The turbotop.exe process is designed to remedy this problem.

The turbotop.exe process is a tool that is programmed to sit on the System Tray. The System Tray is a portion of the MS Windows taskbar designed to display the icons of both active and inactive applications as well as the clock. These System Tray icons provide users with a means to not only access the applications via a single left or right click and a double left or right click of the mouse but also determine the status of each program. The system tray is located at one end of the taskbar in all Windows operating systems. By clicking on the TurboTop icon in the System Tray, you will see a menu that contains a list of all currently visible application windows.

With the menu currently presented, simply choose the item that corresponds to the window you would want to be always on top. The turbotop.exe process will then show a popup menu, which displays the windows or applications that are currently set to be always on top by displaying a check mark. Some users might wonder why some programs or windows wont stay on top. The reason is some programs interrupt or supersede the procedure being performed by the turbotop.exe process.

The turbotop.exe process also has a newer version, which can now accept one or more window titles in the command line. The title text that matches the windows typed in the command line will be made always on top during the initialization of the turbotop.exe process.
