Description:

The file trillian.exe launches the main Triallian messenger program. The Trillian messenger programs latest release is version 3.1.9.0. Its next installment is Trillian Astra which includes versions for the iPhone and Mac OS X, but it is still in its alpha testing stage.

The process trillian.exe is an instant messenger client that enables the user to connect to Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger, AIM, ICQ and IRC by using this single Trillian application; thus not needing to run an individual program for each of these messenger services. This is a stand-alone and full featured application.

The program trillion.exes capabilities exceeds that of original network chat clients including support for standard features like audio chat, group chat, chat rooms, file transfers using shell integration, buddy icons, multiple and simultaneous connections to the same network, emotisounds, emoticons, docking, contact importing on the server-side, direct connection (AIM), typing notification, instant lookup features (automatic integration of Wikipedia), encrypted messaging (AIM/ICG), proxy support, contact alert, tabbed chatting, globally change the status (setting all networks at away all at once), SMS support, privacy settings and system-tray notifications and alerts.

The application trillion.exe is also able to import the users buddy list, passwords, and client preferences into its interface thus the programs acts like a hub for all chat traffic and is an advanced automated system that activates events while basing it actions on events happening in the client program. This program also supports checking of email accounts with just a click, view specific and detailed event logs for each chat client and supports video and voice messaging too.

The graphical user interface of the process trillian.exe contains four main menu options, Trillian, View, Tasks and Help. The application has an Identities and Connections Manager, which enables the user to bundle into one application the several identities held by the user. The process trillian.exe also has a Biography section, which allows users to edit Aim Profiles in HTML format.
