Description:

The thewea~1.exe process activates the application Desktop Weather 3 from The Weather Channel. The basic function of the file is to provide the current temperature, climate conditions, and related alerts. During startup, the file thewea~1.exe will look for certain files to load from the weather.com servers. This means that the thewea~1.exe process automatically communicates with the weather.com server, in order to retrieve the necessary information required for the functionality of the Desktop Weather 3 application. Some of the features provided by the thewea~1.exe EXE is the display of local temperatures, weather alerts, and updates on weather calamities, maps, radar, and weather forecasts.

The temperature displayed by the EXE thewea~1.exe will depend on your location. Your location will be required during the installation process of the Desktop Weather application. You can also add, change, and delete locations via the Save/Change Locations link on the Desktop Weather 3 graphical user interface.
