Description:

The file tclockex.exe is described as TClockEx Loader, and was created by Dale Nurden to provide a configurable time and date display in the system tray. If the TClockEx application is installed in Windows XP, the file tclockex.exe will have a total file size of 89,008 bytes. Both the process and the application will drop into the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\ Run, which enables them to run during startup.

The file activates the TClockEx application in the Windows operating system. The program TClockEx and the tclockex.exe process enhance the standard Windows taskbar clock, and include the ability to display the date, time, and other information in any format available. The tclockex.exe is also fully customizable, and the font, color, and the tooltip information may be modified to suit your specifications.

The tclockex.exe file is not designed to replace the taskbar clock, but is, rather, an enhancement of it. One of the functions included in the tclockex.exe process is the modification of the appearance of the original system tray clock. In version 1.4 of the EXE tclockex.exe, the user-defined display elements feature has been incorporated. This appears in any of the TClockEx applications format strings, as an element surrounded by % symbols, i.e. d MMM yyyy %USER%. The process has the capacity to record up to sixteen user-defined elements at any one time, with a maximum length of eight characters. Additionally, there is no limit on the length of its value, except that the entire string cannot surpass 239 characters.

The file tclockex.exe and the TClockEx application are categorized as freeware. The current version of the application is 1.4.2 and is supported in several Windows platforms, aside from Windows XP.
