Description:

The tca.exe process controls the functioning of the antivirus software called The Cleaner. The file tca.exe is specially designed to keep computers and data safe from keyloggers, trojans, spyware, worms, and other types of malware. The tca.exe process prohibits and examines suspected malicious elements before they can do any damage to the system. It is best to let the file tca.exe run during startup to provide the necessary security measures.

The file tca.exe actively checks files, programs, and processes on the computer and acts on trojans as soon as they are identified. Additionally, the TCMonitor feature of the file tca.exe keeps track of registry keys, files, and folders and alerts users if changes are made or detected. Additional features included upon installation of the file tca.exe and The Cleaner are Explorer integration, scheduled scans, quarantine options, and others. The file also adds a real-time shield for further security measure. The Cleaners interface is simple and easy to use.

When a scan is initiated using the tca.exe process, the main control panel window disappears. This enables the tca.exe process to produce a pop-up window displaying the status of the scanning process. When the application detects a suspected malicious program, it automatically stores information about the program in the Win32.Suspect folder. This is the folder that is designated to contain information about applications that went through a series of diagnostic tests and were found to be incorporated with possible malicious code. This means the file tca.exe only suggests further investigation to be conducted by the user on the particular programs. The antivirus application is also not intended to replace a users current antivirus program.
