Description:

The file tbmon.exe controls the Error Reporting Service function of the McAfee VirusScan Enterprise software. The main job of the file tbmon.exe is to function as the error reporting tool for the Network Associates. The function of the tbmon.exe process can be activated through the Tools menu of the VirusScan console.

The file tbmon.exe functions by trapping errors and requesting submission to NAI for beta-testing new software. However, when the tbmon.exe process is present in the McAfee software and enabled, it enables the Error Reporting Service of the software. It monitors all applications of Network Associates and notifies the user when it a problem is detected.
