Description:

The file tablet.exe is part of the file driver component necessary for Wacom Tablets to be incorporated into Microsoft Windows operating systems. The tablet.exe process is included in the startup group and will automatically detect the tablet device when it is attached

The tablet.exe file has no visible window, nor does it require any input from the user. The only user interface involved is for the configuration of settings found in the Control Panel of your OS.

The tablet.exe process is necessary for certain applications to function properly in your system, especially those that require the use of the Wacom tablet. Such applications include Paint Shop Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and other high-end image development software.

Adobe Photoshop 6.01 the program might experience a slowdown in most of its functions, and may take longer then necessary to exit. It usually takes around 30-50 seconds to close entirely.

The tablet.exe process has a startup registry value under the location HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\ Run\.
