The process file studio.exe is a part of the Pinnacle Studio program by Pinnacle Systems. Once installed, the user has several options when using the Pinnacle Studio 11 program. The user can capture from DV or Digital8 camcorders or VCRs, it can also capture from analog camcorders, 8 MM, VHS, SVHS, VHS-C, SCHS-C or VCRs. With the Pinnacle Studio 11, the user can also record output files to DV or Digital 8 tapes, analog videotapes or Apple iPod and Sony PSP formats. The Pinnacle Studio 11 can import several audio, video and graphic formats such as AVHCD, DV, HDV, AVI, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MOD, DivX, MPEG-4, WMV, MP3, WAV, WMF, BMP, TIF, TGA, JPG and PCT. The program can also export into several formats such as VCD, DVD, MPEG-A, DV, HDV, AVI, DivX, RealVideo 8, Windows Media 9, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, Dolby Digital 2 channel and 5.1 channel audio.

The Pinnacle Studio 11 program allows users to preserve, edit and enjoy captured video files from almost any type of camcorder. The program automatically detects scenes and creates clips for the user. The user can personalize recorded videos by using the programs basic editing tools.
