The Sonic Drive Letter Access (DLA) is a software application that turns CDs and DVDs into virtual hard drives. This is done by just dragging and dropping your data directly to a writable or rewritable CD or DVD. The burning is quite easy since there is no need of pre-staging your files. This means just executing the process and copying your files via Windows Explorer will allow the DLA software to burn your files in one simple step. The process is as easy as saving all files in a 3.5 floppy disk or other removable drive. All CDs and DVDs created with Sonic DLA is compatible with almost all Windows-based computers. The software program is compatible with Windows XP, Windows 2000 or MS Windows Me and Windows 98. These operating systems should be present in the machines in order for the software program to use its full capabilities. The virtual memory of these machines must also be 128 MB for Windows XP, 64 MB for Windows/Me and 32 MB for Windows 98. All computers must have 19 MB worth of unused hard disk space, a 16 bit color or better, and most importantly a disc recorder capable of writing CD or DV media.
