Description:

The program sraid.exe is used to manage and operate Redundant Arrays of Independent Disks (RAID), which allows the concurrent use of several hard disk drives to attain improved levels of reliability, performance, and bigger spaces for data. Its name is a shortcut for SiS RAID.

The executable file sraid.exe is designed to use the RAID storage system to split data files among several hard drives to enhance input and output performance and improve the reliability of data access.

When two or more hard disks are bundled into a RAID, data is distributed across these disks, but the RAID is considered by the computer operating system as a single disk. SRAID sets are designed for fail-safe, high-volume information storage.
