The program shortkey.exe allows the user to establish specified text or paragraphs for a particular set of keystrokes. The executable files shortkey.exe is advantageous for the user who does any kind of repetitive typing.

The process file shortkey.exe also has the benefit of minimizing the time required for a typing job because it allows the typing of up to 3000 characters with just a few keystrokes. It also has the benefit of preventing typing errors.

The program shortkey.exe can run in a Windows 9x, 2000, NT4, XP, 2000 or Vista operating system. It requires a Pentium central processing unit or higher, 32 megabytes of RAM, and five megabytes of hard disk space.

The macro utility shortkey.exe is designed for computer programs that permit text input, including a text editor, a word processor, or an electronic mail program. The user is allowed to enter an almost limitless number of combinations of short keys and replacement text per file.

The program shortkey.exe has to be manually launched to activate the combinations of words and their corresponding replacement characters. After being initiated, the executable file shortkey.exe will check the keys being typed and if they fit one of the specified sets of characters, the particular set of keys typed will be removed and replaced by the corresponding replacement text.

The process file shortkey.exe also allows the printing of the list of short keys. These short keys can also be imported or exported. A one- or two-character Prefix Key can also be defined to set off the replay of a short key. Punctuation keys can also be employed to launch the short key.

The program shortkey.exe also has an English and British spell checker for verifying the replacement text.
