Description:

The file sgms.exe is a simple yet an efficient security program that locks out the computer for any unauthorized use. Also known as Access Denied, the program sgms.exe proves to be reliable enough in providing security for the computers for it continuously works even when the user is away.

The program sgms.exe works by requesting valid username and security password from the user. When an unauthorized user entered the wrong combination of username and password, that user will be denied to access the computer. Also, the program sgms.exe disables the use of CTRL+ALT+DEL so that users can continue special applications by preventing the Task Manager.

The Screen Guard, which is a feature of the program sgms.exe, allows the user to immediately hide the shown desktop. When this happens, this program locks out the computer through the use of a mouse click or a designated hot key. Whenever a screen saver is in use and at the same time the user is away, the integrated Screen Guard will protect the desktop by asking the users username and password.

All attempts or any interference that are done by illegal users to access the Administrator program or the system itself will be known when the program sgms.exe shows the combinations of username or password that were tried to use, as well the time and date when the attempt had occurred. This program also uses colors to determine how important the message is. It also tells the user how frequently the potential attempts violated the access to the system.
