The file sgecrypt.exe is a tool that assigns new keys when the user is logged on to the computer. The file sgecrypt.exe is associated with SafeGuard Easy, software that provides security and protection for workstations and laptops that contain sensitive information.

Together with the file sgecrypt.exe, SafeGuard Easy provides boot protection and authentication for pre-boot user. This software also provides encryption for hard disk and uses powerful algorithms to get rid of hacker attacks that cause unauthorized access to the system.

To assign keys using the file sgecrypt.exe, the user has different options, depending on the situation. One way is to choose the key type, which determines the hardware should the key apply- whether for removable media or floppy disks.

Another way of using the file sgecrypt.exe is to utilize the system key that enables the usage of a removable media drive or a floppy disk. This is applicable during the installation of a program. The user can also have the option to disable the system key by unselecting the checkbox. When this is used, there will be a replacement of the key.
