Description:

The sataraid.exe file is known to occur in Windows XP with the file sizes of approximately 598.069 kilobytes and 1,019.961 kilobytes. The application of the program drops an icon on the system taskbar.

The file sataraid.exe functions as a RAID (Redundant Arrays of Inexpensive Disks) driver for serial Advanced Technology Attachments (ATA) disks on motherboards, which include the Diamond Flower Inc. (DFI) Lanparty range. The Redundant Arrays of Inexpensive Disks, or simply RAID, is a technology, which allows two, or more hard drives to obtain greater levels of reliability, performance, and bigger volume sizes of data to be used simultaneously.

The file sataraid.exe was released in a wide range of versions as either a 32-bit or a 64-bit driver. The driver with the version 1.5.15.0is used to install an operating system for RAID support of levels 0, 1, 5 and 10. This driver can be used with the SATARAID5 Basic Input/Output System version 5.4.03. The driver can also be used with the version 1.5.15.0 of SATARAID5 Management Utility.

A Serial ATA hard disk can then be connected to the Serial ATA ports on the RAID controller SiI3114.

The sataraid.exe program is automatically loaded when the RAID support on Serial ATA drives is used.
