Description:

A process by Microsoft Corporation, runonce.exe is an Elevated Rights Deployment Tool, a process used by Windows XP and Vista, a Microsoft Run Once wrapper for third party installation such as Internet Phones, Universal Serial Bus devices like Flash Drives, Printers and other hardware application programs. Runonce.exe usually gives response to installation process. This file refers to various versions of software program and its file size is only 14,336 bytes. When installing a program this function will be the reason to extract cabinet files and other installation process extensions of the software, allowing the program to register on the End-User License Agreement or EULA on registry editor program of Windows Operating System.

This module is added to operate at startup when installing "Microsoft Universal Data Access. Runonce.exe is located on "C:\ WINDOWS\ SYSTEM\ ", embedded on Windows 95, 98 and ME, but for windows NT/2000, XP and Vista, it is located on "C:\(WINNT or WINDOWS)\ SYSTEM32\ ".
