Description:

The file realtimeupdate.exe is included in the basic installation package for all RealNetworks' products applications. Along with another library designated to determine typical date releases for new updates, the realtimeupdate.exe process is triggered by the earlier described file to conduct routine checks for the dependent application's entirety with the publisher's recent upgrades which can be found on the publisher's main Web site.

This process has the common description as Internet Explorer Communication Agent Module. Its updating function rides with the default Internet browser of the Windows to connect itself with the site upgrade address. Often, when an upgrade is available, the system would first let the user know of the existing new patches made available by the publisher.
