Description:

The process realpopup.exe belongs to a software utility, which is bundled with the program RealPlayer. This utility, called RealPopUp, is the replacement of its predecessor Winpopup, a program that allows sending messages from a single computer to another through a local area network.

Compared to its predecessor, the software RealPopUp 2.6 build 167 with the process realpopup.exe provides a full-featured tool that is stable and simpler. The program is fully integrated with the network environment and supports features, which include hypertexts, options for users and groups, an internal network browser and auto complete naming.

The setup of the RealPopUp software application contains a language selection with which the user can choose from for the program. These languages, which include English, Italian, German, French and Spanish, are built-in with the application of the program. Additional languages can be downloaded from the softwares website.

The completion of RealPopUps installation enables the user to automatically launch the software. This process drops the programs icon in the system tray.

After the setting up of the program realpopup.exe and RealPopUp, a window encrypted with a message from the author appears that contains a brief summary about the products history and its features. The window also has the Environment, Message and ? on its menu. The Environment menu item lists the options below:

The feature Do not disturb is used whenever the user doesnt want to receive any message. The Im away option informs users that you are away from the network. Force wake up disables the redirection of messages and ignore them.

The ? item on the menu supports the user with help in using the RealPopUp program with the option Welcome Message if the user wants to see the message again.

The file realpopup.exe and RealPopUp require Windows 95, 98, Me, NT, 2000, XP and 2003 OS to start.
