Description:

The file radboot.exe executes the RadLinker application, developed to improve the functionality of ATI Radeon graphic cards installed in a system.

The 900Kb file radboot.exe, or RadLinker, is considered as a tweak or linking application that allows users to access the settings of the installed video/graphics card and modify certain settings for each application.

The process radboot.exe is known to boot during Windows startup and has no visible window during its execution. Instead, the process has an icon found in the System Tray on the taskbar which indicates it is active in the background.

The RadLinker, or radboot.exe process, creates a shell link or shortcut and embeds itself in other applications, like games or programs installed in the system. The link allows the user to change the settings of each of these applications individually without changing the corresponding settings for all applications.

One feature of this program is that it allows the user to modify video settings for each application and uses the functionality of the ATI Radeon. These settings can be custom-made for each application and are initialized upon the execution of the radboot.exe process.

The program radboot.exe can provide games with certain video features that unavailable in other applications. However, there may be instances where it may cause system errors if wrongly configured. In such cases, it can be remedied by removing the radboot.exe process from the startup group using MSCONFIG. After this you can reconfigure the radboot.exe process and re enable it.

Recommendations:

This is a safe process. There is no necessity to remove this process from your system or change it in any way.
