The main directive of the application is to identify all the hardware components and software applications installed on the computer, and it subsequently searches for updates that will further improve its performance.
The radarsync.exe, or the RadarSync application, identifies, searches, downloads these updates, and installs them automatically. The program is known to be compatible with Microsoft Windows operating systems, such as Windows 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP, 2003, and the latest Windows Vista.
The radarsync.exe process will be included in the Windows startup group and will load once the system boots up. The program itself will have its own startup value under the registry location HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\ Run\.
When active, the process will have an icon found in the system tray of your taskbar, to indicate that it is running in the background. It will also utilize the Internet connection of your system to look for updates on its designated server on the Web.
The initial routine of the process is to scan different peripherals and software in your system. This includes hardware devices, such as motherboards, video/graphics cards, network adapters, and so on. The program will also seek out file drivers and applications in your system. Once it has finished gathering information about the system, it will connect to the RadarSync server across the Web and find updates for your hardware and software.
When an update is detected, it will automatically initiate the download and will install it afterwards. The process does not necessarily need any user input, but the configuration can be changed, if necessary.
