Description:

The process quiksync.exe activates the Iomega Quiksync program. The program automates the file backup process and provides you with Wizards that will help you through the whole job. The quiksync.exe process is usually bundled with the Zip and Jaz CD/DVD drives from Iomega. However, the Quiksync program can also be used with non-Iomega drives.

The Quiksync application will ask you what folders or files you want to back up and when. The quiksync.exe process includes a scheduler, which can be configured to start depending on the specified time. Aside from saving a back up to CDRW, Quiksync will save a back up in another drive. The file quiksync.exe protects you from loss of data caused by viruses, computer crashes, power outages, and deletion by accident. The files are saved to specific folders on the hard drive or network drive. Additionally, they are automatically copied to another drive assigned as the sync location. The sync locations may include third-party network drives, hard disks, or removable drives. The file quiksync.exe also comes with tools to enable IT pros to implement auto backup through out their network, very easily.

The Wizard provided by the quiksync.exe process will lead you through the initial setup. You do not have to interact with the software again unless you wish to change the settings or schedule a backup time. To restore files after a computer disaster, you can simply access the sync location and move the files to their desktop location. There is no decompression required.

The process quiksync.exe does not interrupt your work. Additionally, you can set the Quiksync application to back up your files whenever you save files to a specified folder on your computer or network drive, at regular intervals throughout the day, or at a regularly scheduled time.
