Description:

The quicknote.exe process is designed to let you quickly make simple notes without going through the hassle of opening an office utility or word processor, creating a new document, and saving the document. It is most useful when you are in a hurry and need to take down a quick note and you can't find any pen or paper.

When the Quicknote program is installed onto the computer, you can access it by simply pointing the mouse at the small line on the top of the desktop. You can also access the application by pressing shortcut keys that you can configure in 'Options' windows of the Quicknote application. The Quicknote application has a resizable window that you can use to jot down notes and organize them in categories and even sketch small drawings. Quicknote files are saved with the "Zx" file extension.

Aside from its normal text function, the quicknote.exe process can also convert units, access commonly used programs easily, encrypt text, modify the system volume by making use of hotkeys, control windows tasks, and send notes via a network. The Quicknote program also has a reminding tool that is used to remind you of your notes at a specified time. It can also run programs or shut the PC down automatically.

Pressing M or right clicking on any free space in the main window of the Quicknote program lets you configure the process quicknote.exe. This will display the Menu and you can choose various Options from there.
