The process quicklauncher.exe executes the EIPC Quick Launcher application. EIPC quick launcher offers users a faster and easier way to open files or view Web sites. The quicklauncher.exe process aids users in creating shortcut keys to applications, folders, Internet links and other files. Upon installation of the EIPC Quick Launcher, the file quicklauncher.exe will be accessible through the system tray.

The quicklauncher.exe process displays the EIPC Quick Launch window, when accessed through the system tray. The applications window contains three menus; File, Action, and Help. To add an action, simply press F3. The Add Action window will appear containing several fields. The users are required to create a keyword for the action they are going to add. The hotkey is a combination of the Ctrl + Shift + (number, letter, function keys) sequence and the user only needs to choose from the list in the drop-down menu. The application directory must also be added in the Action field. The quicklauncher.exe process has provided the Browse button to help user in locating the directory of the application they want to add.

The list of applications is displayed in the columns and rows in the EIPC Quick Launcher window. This list will help the user know what actions, keywords, and hotkeys can be used. The quicklauncher.exe file can be accessed easily by pressing the default Quick Launcher Hotkey F7. However, users can modify this hotkey by choosing from a collection of keys from the drop-down menu.
