Description:

The qpservice.exe file provides the HP QuickPlay service, made exclusively for HP Pavilion computer series users. The application is a technology published by Hewlett-Packard. The program qpservice.exe allows users to play their music CDs, DVD movies, and MP3s stored on the hard drive in a separate Linux partition without booting to the main operating system.

The feature of the file qpservice.exe can be accessed through the Start menu. In the Search field type quickplay and press Enter. When the results are displayed, select the QuickPlay application. There is also other HP Pavilion computer units that have a QuickPlay media button. Users of such models can access the function of the application qpservice.exe through the blue icon media button. The QuickPlay screen will follow. The screen of the QuickPlay application contains several other icons designed for a specific function. These icons include: the QuickPlay DVD, QuickPlay Music Video Picture, QuickPlay TV, QuickPlay Karaoke, QuickPlay Update, and the QuickPlay Return to Windows icon.

The QuickPlay application and the file qpservice.exe can be updated through the Updates and enhancements button. The application also contains built in help files.
