Description:

The file printkey2000.exe implements the PrintKey 2000 application, which is an add-on for the operating system. This application can provide users with the capability of taking a snapshot of an application window, a dialogue box, the screen, or any part of it just by pressing a key labeled Print Screen on the keyboard. The user can even configure a custom key or keystroke for this particular purpose.

Through the use of the program printkey2000.exe, you can adjust the details of the captured picture such as its brightness, color balance, size, contrast, color invert, or convert it to grayscale or black and white. All the pictures that are captured can be edited using the built-in image editors. They can also be printed and saved in multiple formats including JPG, JPEG, BMP, PNG, GIF, TIF, and PCX. Aside from these features, you can also insert text and draw or scribble on the picture.

The printkey200.exe process can capture the full-screen picture as well as the active window. The printkey2000.exe process can also capture the client application window, rectangular or circular area, with or without the mouse cursor. You can preview pictures and add the date, other user info, and other text you choose before printing.

The PrintKey 2000 window includes three menus: File, Options, and about. The right side of the window includes the Picture Options and the Printer Options tabs. There are several calibrations that you can adjust to attain the desired settings for the picture. The size of the picture can also be modified through the Change Size tab and by typing in the desired pixel size.

The file printkey2000.exe supports several operating systems such as Windows XP and Windows 2000. The most recent version of the PrintKey 2000 application can support the Windows Vista operating system.
