The file pavmail.exe is a program that ships with PER AntiVirus software by PER Systems S.A.

The process pavmail.exe is an e-mail protection utility called by PER Antivirus to scan incoming e-mails and strip out infected attachments. The process pavmail.exe checks unsolicited e-mails before it enters the messaging system. It scans all incoming and outgoing messages and checks for all known viruses.
