Office Startup Assistant: The osa.exe process or the Microsoft Office Startup Assistant (OSA) program is the one responsible in improving Microsoft Offices programs performance. This osa.exe file initializes the operation of Microsoft Office programs. It executes commands to trigger these programs to start, and function efficiently on a computer that runs Windows Operating System.

The osa.exe file implements the utilization of some of the fonts that are included in the Microsoft Office package. It also executes some commands, like New Office Document, Open Office Document, Screen Saver, and Help on the Microsoft Office Shortcut Bar, as well as on the Start Menu.
