Description:

The netrun.exe process is a free executable file that is bundled with the NetRun program that was publicly released on March 25, 2002. The NetRun application loads up when the file netrun.exe is installed and will 'RUN' a 'List' of programs only when an internet connection is detected, then will close or stop the same 'List' when the connection is lost. The developer goals are to keep the NetRun application small, with a minimal demand for system resources.

Three simple steps need to be done in order to start the program after installing the file netrun.exe. First is to initialize the program by right clicking the NetRun tray icon, and choosing Setup. Through adding the Applications to the Run List you can select the Add Program button, but the fastest method is to drag shortcuts from the Start menu into the Run List. The process netrun.exe will set a 500 ms (1/2 sec) delay between the applications on the list. It is important to check the Options you want for each Application if you want that the program to start with windows, also check the Auto start option in the active user box.

The netrun.exe process has the capability of Internet detection via IP method that can be Re-Run on re-connected whenever needed. The current user may set to auto-start option which demands a very small size of the system resources. The process netrun.exe works quietly in the System tray and boots up quickly during start up.

Drag and Drop for adding applications of the netrun.exe process does not work for some Microsoft's programs, like the Internet Explorer, Windows Messenger, Outlook Express and others. To add those programs you must first create a shortcut to them, and then add this shortcut to the window of the netrun.exe file window.
