Description:

The process mlfbuddy.exe or MailFrontier Desktop is antispam and antiphishing protection software developed by MailFrontier Incorporated. By default, once the process file mlfbuddy.exe is installed it works immediately to block and remove junk e-mail from your inbox. There are no rules needed to create, no list to populate, and all are done automatically.

The MailFrontier desktop, when launched by the process mlfbuddy.exe file, activates the following features:

Automatic setup - alerts user and lets them know who the friends are and who the foes are automatically.

Bayesian content filtering - an advance spam-blocking technique. It aggressively blocks spam and puts them into a slider to give user the control. It also generates reports of allowed and blocked people, company, and lists. It also launches its antiphishing protection features and challenges all response from your e-mails.

Smart network - a worldwide community-based protection, together with foreign-language blocking technique for spam written in foreign language.

When the program mlfbuddy.exe is launched, it gives the user an option to adjust the Matadors filtering sensitivity. This is done by the following simple procedure:

Click on the icon of the Matador system tray with your right mouse button.

Click Open Matador located at the MailFrontier in the menu.

Proceed to the Message category.

Under Message Filters and Collaborative Filter use the sliders to regulate the Matadors sensitivity to specify message categories and for community filtering.

Click Close.

By default, using MailFrontier Matador can actually detect a lot of unwanted junk mail, but chances are good mail will also be caught by mistakes. To make sure that this program does not filter newsletter as spam, it offers an authorization feature and this is how this feature is done:

Click on MailFrontier menu.

Go to Companies.

Make sure Allowed is selected.

Click Add.

Enter the domain name you want to white list.

Click OK, and click Close.

With the process file mlfbuddy.exe being implemented, spam detection rate can also be set into different sensitivity levels. If one or a few users classify a message as spam, it will be removed from all others inboxes. Doing the following procedure does improving your Matadors efficacy for everybody:

Highlight the spam message in your inbox.

Click the Junk button on the Matador toolbar.
