The Miro Video Driver utility is controlled by the file misictrl.exe. This application is part of the Miro Internet TV platform, which offers Internet Television viewing. Miro is free, open source software that generates a level playing field for video designers to distribute their work while viewers can connect to any publisher in the world.

The process misictrl.exe is bundled with Video RSS Technology, which is the technical standard for open source video platforms.
