The process masqform.exe launches the software PureEdge Viewer 6.0; a component of powerful software designed to make information gathering easy, quick and cost effective. The International Business Machine Corporation, a company that pioneered the information technology, developed this software. It is also at the forefront of worldwide industry that continues to revolutionize the way in which enterprises, organizations and people operate and thrive. IBMs character was formed through nearly 100 years of doing business in the field of information.

The program masqform.exe provides a single interface for the user to open, fill out and save forms. The viewer can display forms within its stand alone window or within the web browser. In either case, all of the Viewers functionality is available. It offers different components like the PureEdge Viewer. It is a component that acts as the interface between the XFDL forms and other parts of your system. Next to this would be the PureEdge Designer, which provides a drag and drop design environment for creating XFDL forms. Last on would be the PureEdge API, an Application Programmable Interface that enables the programmer to incorporate XFDL forms and PureEdge technology into the application.

The program masqform.exe, once installed, sees to it that all features will be available for all user profiles on the computer. When the process masqform.exe is initially launched under the new profiles, the viewers preferences and dictionaries are copied to that profile. The preferences and dictionaries are then maintained separately from that profile. This means that each profile will have a custom preference and dictionary settings.

When the application masqform.exe is launched on Microsoft and Netscape browsers, the viewers form requires an extension to be installed in those browsers. Normally, the Viewers install package automatically installs these files. The process masqform.exe executes the viewer in two different modes; first of all, it acts as a stand alone application. Thus, this display environment would include title bars and the Viewer window.

Thus, the next one can be viewed within the browser. Note that when you are working on forms in a web browser, there is no title bar for the viewer. Instead of the title bar of the browser, it displays the location or the URL of the actual form.
