Description:
The process mad.exe is the core application of Microsoft Exchange Server-System Attendant Software, developed by the Microsoft Corporation. Microsoft was established in 1975. They believe that the true reason for their success is not only the power of their software but also the potential it unleashes in all of us. Their focus is to develop new ways to provide affordable, accessible software that can help unlock extraordinary opportunities.
The file mad.exe has a known file size of 2371584 bytes and its most common occurrence on Windows XP is 2285568 bytes, which is about 20% of its entire occurrence.
The program mad.exe, when activated, provides connectivity to messaging systems including Microsoft Mail, Simple Mail Transfer Protocol, X.400, and Lotus cc: Mail. As this system connects to other messaging protocols, it provides directory synchronization between Exchange and other messaging systems. This facilitates the migration from messaging systems to Exchange and even provides for the seamless coexistence between the two environments.
The program mad.exe offers a superb delivery time, which is much better than the end to end delivery within the native messaging environment. Directory entries should be maintained in the native messaging format. This application will give you a performance monitor that allows the system administrator to see how well a server is handling its load. The process mad.exe lets the administrator write the data on a log file and screen. It also monitors all of it, even with a remote computer. The user can also configure the alert system to run in the program automatically. It will then alert the user when a specified threshold is reached.
The file mad.exe, when running, allows the user to customize your Exchange address formats. Thus, it exports the address into different messaging systems. Hence, the user must make sure he/she will configure the export address format. This ensures that the consistency of existing messaging environment has occurred.
The program mad.exe is loaded during the Windows boot process. It creates the following auto start keys in the system registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\ Run.
