Description:

The main purpose of the Spyware Detector software is to scan and look for traces of spyware components on your system. Thus, its database collection, which comes from the companys Research Team from various parts of the Web, is updated several times a day so that it can remove from your computer the most prevalent types of spyware.

In order to benefit from these updates, Spyware Detector comes with the liveupdatesd.exe process. This process automatically notifies you once a day with a pop-up window from the icon in the system tray whenever new updates are available. The Live Update button on the Spyware Detector main window, which can be used for Manual Updates, also represents it. When the Live Update button is clicked, a window opens and begins downloading the latest versions of the Spyware Detector database file along with the version file and other files necessary to update your copy of the software.

The liveupdatesd.exe file ensures continuous protection for your system by working hand-in-hand with the spywaredetector.exe, sdservice.exe, sdsystemtray.exe, senreport.exe, keyloggerscanner.exe and traypopup.exe processes. Together they remove and get rid of the nasty spyware, host files, bad ActiveX controls, bad cookies, and bad BHOs. However, registered users of Spyware Detector can only use the liveupdatesd.exe process.
