Description:

The linksts.exe file is the system tray icon installed after the installation of the device driver for the ASUSCOM ISDNLink 128K PnP Adapter. This tray icon provides settings, configuration, and monitoring functions for the ISDNLink Adapter.

The ISDNLink Adapter driver together with the CAP120 driver, two virtual COM ports, and the NDISWAN Miniport driver will be installed. The driver will automatically start even without rebooting the system.

After installation, the linksts.exe process displays the ISDNLink line status (D, B1, and B2 channels) in the taskbar. The color of the icon depends upon the status of the ISDNLink line:

Red means the driver is loaded, failed or there is no device

Yellow means the driver is successfully loaded and is waiting for connection

Green means the driver is successfully loaded and an application is attached

When the mouse cursor is hovered above the icon, the linksts.exe file will display the driver name, the driver version number, and the name of the ISDN card being monitored. When the cursor is moved to the icon, right click will show you 4 items in the selection list such as Configuration, Line Test, Log (ISDN Monitor), and Exit.
