Description:

The process kavpf.exe is part of the Kaspersky Anti-Hacker application. It works as a filter between the Internet and the computer that checks incoming and outgoing data streams. As an anti-hacker utility, this program permits only safe data and actions to flow over the network.

The kavpf.exe process file is used by Kaspersky Anti-Hacker software to prevent hacker attacks coming from external networks. Its main functionality lies in its ability to regulate access to the Internet applications that prevents the unauthorized outflow of information even as the system is already infected with a Trojan program.
