The Instant CD/DVD software is a complete burning program that allows users to clean, burn and rip various file formats into CDs or DVDs. Users can also capture, share and edit home movies and digital photos on DVDs or CDs that may be viewed on any standard DVD player.

Instant Drive or the file instantdrive.exe is a virtual DVD/CD-ROM drive application that enables users to access data from DVD/CD-Rom discs; users can even access their data even if they dont have a DVD/CD-Rom drive that is connected to the computer system. The instantdrive.exe program file makes a virtual DVD/CD-Rom drive on the systems hard drive.

The CD-Rom or DVD-ROM data is then mounted or un-mounted onto the Instant Drives volume and is accessed like a standard DVD/CD-ROM drive with the indication of a drive letter. And because the data is found on the hard rive, the access to them is much quicker and quieter.
